Founded in 2006, the Beta Sole Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that recognizes the needs of underprivileged students who lack exposure to programs that help them properly determine career options and post-high school studies. The Beta Sole Foundation was originally founded in Chicago, IL, and later added a location to Mt. Pleasant, MI in 2017 after our founder recognized the vast needs of Mid-Michigan students. For this reason, the Beta Sole Foundation has vowed to help these students achieve their goals by focusing the organization’s actions of mentorship, skill-building, scholarship and community outreach.
Our third annual Elf Event will help to provide low-income families throughout our local communities with the unforgettable holiday celebration every child deserves. Each year we provide gifts to each attendee based on their personal wish-lists we receive from parents prior to the event as well as a buffet and snacks. We will be hosting fun holiday activities such as ornament crafting, educational games, photos with Santa, a Christmas scavenger hunt, and much more! This year we’ve also decided to kick up the fun a notch and host it at a venue with an indoor waterpark and arcade. The event has been very successful in the past and often brings diverse groups together, culturally expanding students' perspectives, while sharing in a common season. This Elf Event is especially important because Christmas joy may not be found at home for these children and their families, but they know where they can look forward to finding it every year.

Beta Sole Foundation was delighted to help send a local student, Emmah Coker, on an educational retreat for college students. Here is her statement on her time:
“This past weekend I was given the opportunity to attend the Fall College Retreat put on by Young America’s Foundation (YAF) in Santa Barbara, California. YAF hosted the following speakers: Governor Scott Walker, Elisha Krauss, Larry O’Connor, Ying Ma, Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Jason Mattera, Larry Elder, Michael Reagan, and Mark Joseph. It was an incredible weekend hearing from accomplished speakers and connecting with countless people who also believe in YAF’s mission. Overall, I am incredibly blessed that I had the chance to attend this conference with the help of the Beta Sole Foundation and I look forward to attending more YAF events in the future.”
The Beta Sole Foundation recently hosted the "Swing Into STEM" Golf Tournament Fundraiser at the beautiful Firefly Golf Links in Clare, MI. We would like thank to the generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and outgoing community members who made the event possible! All proceeds will go towards implementing STEM education in rural Michigan school districts!
Beginning in 2019, Beta Sole has combined fun and education at a MILB Loons Baseball game. Middle and high school students from the Mid-Michigan community have a fun-filled day of sports and understanding the science behind the game.
We believe anyone can change the world! That is why Beta Sole helped organize a team of young entrepreneurs from the community for a chance to pitch their idea on the hit show Shark Tank.
Each student is unique and so are their learning styles. We offer personalized tutoring services for students within the community who want to sharpen their skills or need a little extra help in a subject. Students do not need to be currently enrolled in classes to take advantage of our tutoring services.
